Founded in 1987, the Daly Mansion Preservation Trust dedicated to protecting and restoring the Daly Mansion. There is a need for cultural education and historical preservation in the State of Montana. Music, art and education are part of the Daly legacy and Montana’s history. The Daly Mansion location in Hamilton Montana
is on the National Registry of Historic Homes, an irreplaceable “artifact”. It is the finest example of Georgian Revival architecture in the state of Montana encompassing approximately 24,000 square feet with more than fifty rooms. The estate also includes a greenhouse, flower gardens and orchard, a swimming pool, tennis court, icehouse, laundry and children’s playhouse. The Trust is an independent non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Service 501 (C) (3) designation. Exempt status, EIN 81-0446899. The Mansion is a state owned property managed by the Daly Mansion Preservation Trust in partnership with the University of Montana.

Families First was established in April 1994. The initial focus of the organization was Parenting Programs, which provides parenting information and support to anyone raising children. The operating principles were derived from Families First-Boston, but we remain unique and independent. Families First broadened their focus in 2002 and opened the Families First Children’s Museum. The Families First Children's Museum offers fun, interactive and educational exhibits and programs that promote learning through play. In keeping with the mission of Families First, the Museum provides an environment which fosters positive parenting through interaction, exploration and play. LSHF is a non-profit entity under the IRS tax code section 501(c) and is independent of Missoula Catholic Schools and the Diocese of Helena.
As of 6/30/08 the LSHF endowment exceeds $4 million. During the 2007 / 2008 school year LSHF contributed $675,000 in tuition assistance, equipment funding and co-curricular activity support to Missoula Catholic Schools.

Salish Kootenai College is a tribally controlled college chartered in 1977 by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The College is located in Pablo, Montana, in the heart of the Flathead Indian Reservation in the scenic Mission Valley of northwestern Montana. The College received initial accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities in 1984; accreditation was last reaffirmed in 2003.
The mission of Salish Kootenai College is to provide quality postsecondary educational opportunities for Native Americans, locally and from throughout the United States. The College will promote community and individual development and perpetuate the cultures of the Confederated Tribes of the Flathead Nation.
